Particles in the rings rotate around Saturn in the same direction that Saturn rotates.
Particles closer to Saturn rotate faster than particles in rings further away from Saturn.

Saturn's rings seen from below. Note how the Sun shines through the Cassini division in the rings - as seen by the bright narrow line at the northern pole of Saturn.



A sheperd satellite of Saturn's F ring is just barely visible at the leftmost tip of the faint and thin F ring. The F ring is barely visible in the bottom part of the picture, just outside the bright A-ring.
